All About Us
Welcome to Noah's Ark Pre-School
My name is Helen and I am the manager here, I joined Noah's Ark over 15 years ago when my children were here. Today the pre-school has changed beyond all recognition and we have developed an ethos that places the child at the centre of everything we do.
We encourage the children to learn and discover, in paint we offer only primary colours - so that as they mix new colours emerge. In building they have blocks to explore. In our café they learn to cook their snacks, pour their drinks and wash up.
We have a passion that ensures every child succeeds - through care and love, fun and laughter.
Today I hear squeals and giggles from the garden as children and Angela have a basketball shoot off!
Our dedication has meant:-
- We have achieved - OFSTED OUTSTANDING - 3 times - 2009, 2012 and 2017.
- We have our own Forest School that we visit every week.
- With over 1000 books in the library children can take a new one home everyday and develop a love of reading.
- 2019 we introduced our home learning library.
Our small staff team is passionate and enthusiastic about every child having the best start in life.
I hold a BA (distinction) - In childhood studies and I'm an early years professional ( a teacher that specialises in the age group 0 - 5) . Whilst Angela , my deputy has recently gained her level 3 - in Elklan speech and language and offer specialised support sessions.
Noah's Ark Pre-School is a special place.

in 2012 we were proud to work with Alistair Bryce-Clegg and feature in many of his books.
